Dr Timothy Hardcastle is a Trauma Surgeon with a particular interest in Critical Care, crush syndrome, vascular trauma and trauma systems for LMIC’s. He is the current Chair of the TSSA Accreditation Subcommittee. He is a past-President of the Society. Clinically he works in Durban as the Director of Trauma Services for IALCH and Head of the Trauma Fellowship program at UKZN. He is widely published with over 100 articles and numerous book chapters. He is also involved with EMS and Nursing training in Trauma care.
