Trauma Tools
Introduction: The trauma tools section of the site is for the information of members about good reference material, relevant literature; recent publications from South Africa related to trauma or trauma prevention and also provide links to “share-ware” scoring systems useful for trauma research and local audit.
Reference Guides: The following books, pamphlets and handbooks are recommended resources for daily use in the preparation of oneself and one’s facility for efficient trauma care. They do not, however, replace formal training under the guidance of experienced trauma providers.
Inclusion here does not necessarily imply endorsement of the entire contents by the TSSA, only that the works listed here are useful for further study.
