Library
The Library is the repository of useful documents and discipline specific data that are for the use of members and visitors to the site.

Information can be accessed through simple click on the section and by double click on the item for images and links to tools. Any submissions for inclusion on the gallery (regarded as share-ware) will be acknowledged with the initials and place of origin of the image. The only request is that the TSSA be credited with the image if you use it in a presentation. Please submit any images to be considered for inclusion to
timothyhar@ialch.co.za and we will let you know if the teaching value is such that we will include it. Please note - we do not want pictures purely to show grotesque injuries - there must a learning value to the images.

Podcasts discussing relevant topics in trauma and trauma-critical care will be uploaded from time-to-time and these are provided for your listening pleasure and ongoing learning. Podcast topic requests or submissions for consideration - audio recordings only at the moment - covering appropriate topics can be submitted to the Podcast section manager, Dr George Oosthuizen at george.oost@gmail.com.

The journal site is for the sharing of important lectures and recent publications from the trauma fraternity in South Africa. If you have published an article in a medical or nursing or prehospital journal and it is related to trauma then send us the reference at
timothyhar@ialch.co.za and we will list it here, so that other members can access the article if it of relevance to their practice. This is a practical way for members to keep up to date with local research. "Local is lekker!"

Our "FAQ" list is there to answer visitors queries and help you to understand who we are and what the trauma society is there for.

The Trauma Tools section will be used to list helpful texts and documents, on-line calculators and similar clinical and research aids to help you with clinical trauma care and to stimulate research in trauma.
